Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments. Ensure that all products are stored in the correct location and are easily accessible.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely manner while adhering to quality standards.
• Shipping and Receiving: Handle shipping documentation and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Process returns and exchanges as needed.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Perform regular inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff to achieve team goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing and inventory management.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Experience

• Previous Warehouse Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Forklift Certification: Forklift certification is a plus, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Working Hours

• Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week with potential for overtime based on operational needs.
• Shifts: Flexible shifts including weekends and evenings may be required.
