Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions that accurately reflect role requirements and expectations.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and industry networks to build a robust talent pipeline.
• Conduct interviews and assessments, providing a thorough evaluation of candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit for American Airlines.
• Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance, including reference checks and offer negotiations.
• Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires and contribute to ongoing employee engagement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, labor market conditions, and best practices to ensure American Airlines remains competitive in attracting top talent.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the aviation industry or a related sector.
• Exceptional knowledge of recruitment practices, employment laws, and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a recruitment role, with a focus on aviation or similar technical fields.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing high-quality candidates in a competitive market.
• Experience with data analysis and using recruitment metrics to drive decision-making.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position.
• Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on recruitment needs.
