Automation QA / Testing Engineer

Job Summary

Fresher Job is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation QA / Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies that enhance our software development lifecycle. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional products that meet our customers needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality-related aspects of the software.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, providing insights to stakeholders on testing results and quality metrics.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies to drive innovation within the QA team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and experience with automation testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
• Flexibility to accommodate project needs and deadlines as necessary.
