This role is critical in supporting healthcare providers by maintaining clear and precise documentation of patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to voice recordings made by healthcare professionals and transcribe them accurately into written reports.
• Ensure that all documentation adheres to established medical standards and is free from errors.
• Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and clarity while preserving the intended meaning.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any unclear audio or terminology.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all transcription work.
• Stay updated with medical terminology and advancements in healthcare to enhance transcription accuracy.
• Organize and manage electronic documents and files for easy access and retrieval.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of various healthcare specialties.
• Excellent listening skills with a strong command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
• Familiarity with transcription software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in medical transcription is preferred but not mandatory for freshers with relevant training.
• Certification in medical transcription or related fields will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time position; standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime based on workload.
