Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Scheduler/Coordinator to join our team on a night shift and on-call basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care in a timely manner. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing caregiver assignments, and providing support to both clients and staff. This position is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our home care services, ensuring that every clients needs are met effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule caregivers for home care visits based on client needs and staff availability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for caregivers and clients during night shifts and on-call hours.
- Monitor and manage caregiver performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and emergencies, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, client information, and caregiver assignments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Participate in training and development initiatives for caregivers to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory standards regarding home care services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles, preferably in the healthcare or home care sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a scheduling or coordination role, ideally within the healthcare or home care industry.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity is advantageous.
Working Hours
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (on a rotating basis).
- On-call duties as required.
