Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Power BI Analyst to join our dynamic team on a remote contract basis. In this role, you will support data analysis and visualization efforts, transforming complex data sets into insightful reports that drive decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Perform data modeling and data transformation to prepare datasets for analysis.
- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing actionable insights.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and analysis as needed.
- Document processes and create user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and its components, including DAX and Power Query.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and data storytelling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Internship or project experience involving Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is preferred.
Working Hours
- This is a contract position with flexible working hours. The expectation is to be available for core hours from 10 AM to 3 PM (GMT) for team collaboration.
