Specialist, IT Inventory Support (Warehouse)

Job Summary

Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist for our IT Inventory Support team within the Warehouse division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and support for all technology-related equipment. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our IT operations and ensuring that all assets are available, accounted for, and optimally utilized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT inventory, including procurement, tracking, storage, and disposal of IT assets.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to forecast inventory needs based on upcoming projects and organizational changes.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions, including receiving, usage, and disposition of equipment.
  • Develop and implement inventory management processes and systems to improve efficiency.
  • Assist in the training of staff on proper inventory management procedures and tools.
  • Address and resolve inventory discrepancies, working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure quick resolution.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT inventory management processes and tools.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Experience with asset management systems and inventory tracking software is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware and software, including understanding of asset lifecycles.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Flexibility may be required to accommodate project deadlines or inventory audits.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
