Job Summary
American Express is seeking a dedicated and proactive Virtual Assistant to support our team in delivering exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer inquiries through various channels (phone, email, chat) with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain and organize electronic files and documentation to ensure efficient access and retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other business documents as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making processes.
- Perform data entry and maintain databases with a high degree of accuracy.
- Monitor and respond to social media inquiries in alignment with company standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer support role, ideally within a virtual environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with various virtual communication tools.
- Attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team setting.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role.
- Experience in the financial services or customer service industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools is desirable.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with the expectation of availability during standard business hours (Monday to Friday).
- Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
