Job Summary
American Express is seeking a highly organized and motivated Virtual Assistant to support our dynamic team in delivering exceptional customer service and administrative assistance. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing daily tasks, coordinating projects, and enhancing productivity for our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to various teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Maintain and update databases and filing systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Coordinate project timelines and tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Support the implementation of new processes and tools to enhance team efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve operations and service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with collaboration tools such as Zoom and Slack.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or virtual assistance roles.
- Experience in customer service or client-facing positions is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial services or corporate environments is preferred.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours, with the expectation to maintain availability during core business hours (9 AM – 5 PM EST).
- Opportunity for part-time or full-time work, depending on candidate availability and team needs.
