Amazon is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager for our International Stores division. This role is pivotal in driving product strategy, development, and execution for Amazons international offerings. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of global market trends, customer needs, and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced environment. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional product experiences that resonate with customers across diverse regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with Amazons vision for International Stores.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Drive product development cycles from conception to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders and communicate progress effectively to senior leadership.
- Analyze data to inform decision-making and optimize product offerings for international markets.
- Champion a customer-first approach, advocating for user-centric design and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in e-commerce or technology sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with international markets and cultural nuances is a plus.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing products in international markets.
- Experience working with technical teams and understanding software development processes.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or technology is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position; core hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required to collaborate with international teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Adept at stakeholder management and relationship-building.
- High level of adaptability and ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence) and data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
