Delivery Driver – Medical Equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport medical equipment and supplies to healthcare facilities, clinics, and patients homes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with healthcare professionals and patients.
• Ensure proper handling and care of medical equipment during transportation.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies related to delivery and handling of medical items.
• Report any issues or incidents promptly to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with GPS and routing software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as required.
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment is preferred, but training will be provided.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a logistics role is advantageous.
• Experience in the healthcare or medical supply industry is a plus but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with flexibility required, including some evenings and weekends.
• On-call availability may be necessary based on operational needs.
