Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Transport medical supplies, specimens, and documents to various healthcare locations, adhering to strict timelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations related to the handling and transportation of medical materials, including HIPAA guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare personnel, and dispatchers to coordinate deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable transportation.
- Report any incidents, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in courier services, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare practices is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in courier or logistics services.
- Experience in the medical or healthcare sector is highly desirable.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours; must be available for early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts as needed.
- On-call availability may be required based on delivery demands.

- Knowledge of local and regional routes and traffic patterns.
