Fresher Jobs is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Coding Specialist Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging course materials and lessons focused on medical coding principles, practices, and standards.
- Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical coding exercises.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their understanding and skills.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, coding guidelines, and healthcare regulations to ensure the curriculum is current and relevant.
- Facilitate discussions, encourage participation, and create an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with academic staff to improve course content and address student needs.
- Assist in the development of online resources and supplementary materials for remote learners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in medical coding and familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience in teaching or training, preferably in a healthcare or technical environment.
- Proficient in the use of educational technologies and learning management systems.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in medical coding.
- Previous teaching experience in a classroom or online setting is preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
Working Hours
- This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 10-20 hours per week.
- Flexible scheduling options available, including evening and weekend classes.

- In-depth knowledge of medical coding standards and practices.
