Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IT systems, applications, and equipment.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new users on IT tools and systems.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to identify and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using ticketing software.
- Develop and update technical documentation, FAQs, and user guides to improve service efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, issues, and improvements to processes.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and provide suggestions for system improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a virtual or remote environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Experience with network configurations and troubleshooting is a plus.
Working Hours
- This position offers flexible working hours, with the expectation of full-time availability during regular business hours. Occasional after-hours support may be required.
