Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hazardous waste regulations, including RCRA and EPA guidelines.
  • Proficient in environmental impact assessments and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering or hazardous waste management.

Working Hours

This position typically requires a standard workweek of 40 hours, with the potential for additional hours based on project needs and deadlines. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to accommodate site visits or urgent compliance issues.
