Job Summary
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a dedicated and analytical Research Associate to join our dynamic research team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of research studies, including clinical trials and observational studies.
- Collect, manage, and analyze data using statistical software and research methodologies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of research processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with principal investigators, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders to facilitate research initiatives.
- Present findings in reports, publications, and presentations for various audiences, including academic and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements in all research activities.
- Support grant writing and funding applications to secure resources for ongoing research projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Biomedical Sciences).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Experience with research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data management tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in a research role, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
- Familiarity with patient-centered research and knowledge of healthcare systems is a plus.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate research activities and deadlines.
