Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Maintenance: Execute installation and maintenance of data cabling infrastructure including copper and fiber optics.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cabling issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Site Surveys: Conduct site assessments to determine the best cabling solutions and layouts based on client needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, changes, and repairs, including updating network diagrams and inventory logs.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and safety regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and technical staff to support large-scale projects and provide cross-functional expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in data cabling installation, including understanding of various cabling types (Cat 5e, Cat 6, fiber optics).
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, Cisco, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients and team members.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.

Experience

• Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data cabling or a related field is preferred.
• Project Exposure: Experience with large-scale installations or working in a team-oriented environment is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position with standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required for project-based needs, including occasional evening or weekend work.
