Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries regarding IT-related issues via phone, email, or chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  • Assist users with software applications and ensure proper functionality.
  • Document all support activities in our ticketing system for future reference and analysis.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Provide training and support for new software and technology tools.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of IT assets and software licenses.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance support services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with common software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. Candidates should be available to work during standard business hours and may be required to participate in on-call support as needed.
