Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting principles.
  • Support the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors when necessary.
  • Provide periodic reports to clients, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a virtual environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various industries is a plus.

Working Hours
