Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Fresher Jobs in the chemical manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for chemical manufacturing processes.
- Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor production processes and conduct tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the production, engineering, and R&D teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on quality audits, testing results, and non-conformance issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality control activities and facilitate any required internal or external audits.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control practices and industry standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, industry regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
- Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, Minitab).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry certifications.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance role within a chemical manufacturing environment (fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework may also apply).
- Proven experience in performing quality audits, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and equipment calibration.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- Standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed for project deadlines or urgent quality issues.
