Quality Assurance Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Fresher Jobs in the chemical manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for chemical manufacturing processes.
• Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes and conduct tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production, engineering, and R&D teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on quality audits, testing results, and non-conformance issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of quality control activities and facilitate any required internal or external audits.
• Train and mentor staff on quality control practices and industry standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, industry regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
• Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, Minitab).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry certifications.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance role within a chemical manufacturing environment (fresh graduates with relevant internships or coursework may also apply).
• Proven experience in performing quality audits, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and equipment calibration.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
• Standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed for project deadlines or urgent quality issues.
