Key Responsibilities

  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students achieve their musical potential.
  • Keep track of student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Create a positive, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay updated on new teaching techniques, trends, and guitar-related resources.
  • Host workshops or events to engage the wider community in music education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven proficiency in playing guitar (both acoustic and electric).
  • Ability to teach various music styles, including classical, rock, blues, jazz, and more.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Patience and the ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels.
  • Basic knowledge of music theory.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to continue learning and improving.

Experience

  • Prior experience teaching guitar is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience performing live or in a band is an advantage.
  • A background in music education or related certifications is a plus.

Working Hours
