Job Summary
Amazon is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Distribution and Fulfillment Services team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing complex data, generating actionable insights, and supporting decision-making processes that drive operational efficiency and improve customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve operational performance across Amazons distribution and fulfillment network.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools and dashboards that provide timely and accurate business intelligence to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and deliver data-driven recommendations to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency within the distribution and fulfillment operations.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for performance discrepancies and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, strategies, and project outcomes to leadership teams.
- Continuously monitor business processes and analyze key performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights for continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on data interpretation and operational improvements.
- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify key insights, and deliver actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field, preferably in a logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce environment.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and solutions that improve business performance.
- Experience working with large-scale data systems and familiar with data management and reporting tools.
- Prior experience in distribution, fulfillment, or similar operational roles is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with flexible working hours.
- Hybrid work model: a mix of remote and in-office presence at the designated Amazon location.
- Must be available to work within core business hours and respond to urgent requests as needed.
