Associate Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly strategic Associate Vice President of Human Resources & Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our leadership team at Fresher Jobs. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the HR strategy, creating a high-performance culture, and overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. The successful candidate will collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement programs that align with our organizational goals while fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the companys business goals. Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure effective implementation of all HR processes.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee recruitment processes to attract top talent. Develop retention strategies to ensure the long-term success of our workforce.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Implement employee engagement initiatives that enhance job satisfaction and performance.
  • Performance Management: Guide managers on employee performance evaluations and development plans. Ensure the performance management system aligns with business objectives.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Design and implement competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentive plans to attract and retain talent.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. Mitigate HR-related risks and manage conflict resolution in a fair and effective manner.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business strategies.
  • HR Technology & Analytics: Oversee the integration and use of HR technology platforms to streamline HR operations and improve decision-making through data-driven insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10-15 years of experience in human resources, with a minimum of 5 years in an executive leadership role. Proven track record of leading and scaling HR functions in a growing organization.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR practices with company goals and objectives, offering strategic guidance to senior leadership.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams. Ability to influence and build strong relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to HR decision-making.
  • Global HR Experience: Experience managing HR operations across multiple regions, including knowledge of international labor laws and regulations, is a plus.

Experience

  • Required: Proven experience in leading HR functions at a senior level, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. Extensive experience in HR strategy development and execution.
  • Preferred: Experience in industries such as technology, consulting, or high-growth startups is a plus, but not required.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours may be available, with the opportunity to work remotely or from the office, depending on company policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Change Management: Ability to lead organizational change initiatives and manage transitions effectively.
  • HR Technology: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and talent management software. Knowledge of AI-driven HR tools and analytics is a plus.
  • Decision-Making: Strong judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in balancing business needs with employee interests.
  • Conflict Resolution: Ability to manage conflicts and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive discussions related to compensation, benefits, and performance issues.
