Salary: CAD $85,000 – $120,000/year (based on experience)


Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through completion. This leadership role requires someone who can manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client expectations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You’ll be responsible for delivering successful outcomes on retail, office, institutional, or industrial builds, coordinating between stakeholders, field teams, and consultants to keep projects on track.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish

  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans

  • Oversee procurement, contract administration, and permitting processes

  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to meet project milestones

  • Track progress and control costs using reporting tools and site visits

  • Manage RFIs, change orders, and documentation workflows

  • Ensure projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies

  • Conduct regular site meetings and provide project status updates

  • Resolve challenges and delays with practical, solutions-oriented thinking


Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management

  • Proven track record of managing commercial construction projects

  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, drawings, and contracts (CCDC preferred)

  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or related field

  • Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent)

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of health & safety legislation and site protocols

  • PMP or Gold Seal Certification is an asset

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to visit sites across the region

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
