Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Construction Scheduler to support and manage timelines for complex high-rise residential developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using industry-standard software, ensuring milestones are met and projects remain on track.

This role is key to coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants, and is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, forecasting, and construction planning.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools

  • Coordinate with site teams, project managers, and contractors to gather real-time progress updates

  • Analyze project timelines and forecast delays or risks proactively

  • Generate weekly/monthly schedule reports and dashboards for stakeholders

  • Ensure alignment of procurement, sub-trades, and critical path activities

  • Incorporate design changes, RFIs, and change orders into the schedule as needed

  • Support claims and extensions of time with detailed time impact analysis

  • Attend coordination and progress meetings with site and office staff

  • Monitor milestone progress, identifying bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience on high-rise or large-scale residential construction projects

  • Proficient in scheduling software: Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and building systems

  • Experience working with consultants, trades, and multi-phase projects

  • Excellent time-management, critical-thinking, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with Ontario Building Code (or provincial equivalent) and construction documentation

  • Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
