Job Title: HVAC Technician – New Builds and Renovation Projects
Location: Canada

Salary: CAD $30 – $45/hour (based on experience and licensing)
Job Overview
We are seeking a certified and experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for new residential builds and renovation projects. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, safety-conscious, and capable of delivering top-quality work on schedule.
This is a great opportunity to work with a growing team on a variety of HVAC systems across custom homes, multi-unit developments, and retrofit jobs.
Key Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and ventilation components in new builds and renovation sites

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC issues efficiently

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals

Perform system tests and inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and manufacturer guidelines

Work with other trades to coordinate timelines and avoid site conflicts

Ensure proper airflow and refrigerant levels; test thermostats and safety controls

Maintain accurate job records and submit service documentation

Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE and tools

Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with builders, inspectors, or homeowners
Qualifications and Requirements

Valid HVAC license (e.g., G2/G1, 313A/313D) or equivalent provincial certification

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on HVAC installation and service experience

Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems

Experience working on new builds, retrofits, and renovations

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to work from ladders, in tight spaces, and outdoors in all weather

Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
