Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is actively seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our remote team, with a primary base in Chennai. This role is ideal for data enthusiasts who can transform raw data into insightful dashboards and visualizations that drive strategic business decisions. As a Power BI Developer, you will play a critical role in shaping our data analytics capability by delivering intuitive and actionable reports to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define KPIs.

  • Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.

  • Create DAX queries to generate calculated columns and measures.

  • Maintain, update, and enhance existing BI solutions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting solutions.

  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and documentation for developed solutions.

  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Power BI and DAX programming.

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and database design.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration.

  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, etc.).

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data Services is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of developing impactful Power BI solutions.

  • Experience working remotely or in distributed teams is preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST, Monday to Friday.

  • Flexible scheduling options may be available based on project requirements.
