Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our dynamic remote team. As a Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to drive critical business decisions. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for self-driven professionals who are passionate about business intelligence, analytics, and data storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

  • Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) to extract and transform data.

  • Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reports.

  • Develop DAX queries and Power Query scripts as needed.

  • Troubleshoot and debug existing Power BI reports and dashboards.

  • Provide ad hoc reporting support to business teams when required.

  • Stay up to date with Power BI features, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and its core functionalities.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.

  • Experience working with large data sets and various data sources (SQL, Excel, Cloud, etc.).

  • Solid knowledge of visualization best practices and user experience design.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in Power BI development or a similar BI/analytics role.

  • Freshers with strong Power BI project portfolios or certifications may also be considered.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • Option to choose between part-time or full-time schedules

  • Work-life balance is prioritized

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehouse concepts

  • Ability to write optimized SQL queries

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Power Platform is a plus

  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Comfortable working in an agile and collaborative team environment
