Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable insights by developing, maintaining, and optimizing BI solutions. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about data analysis and business strategy to work from anywhere while supporting high-impact decision-making across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions (dashboards, visualizations, reports).

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Optimize SQL queries and data models to improve reporting performance.

  • Integrate data from various sources into centralized BI platforms.

  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.

  • Monitor BI tools performance and implement necessary updates or enhancements.

  • Train business users on new BI tools and features as needed.

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing BI systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in BI development or data analytics roles.

  • Prior experience in a remote or distributed work environment is a plus.

  • Experience working with large data sets and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.

Working Hours

  • Flexible working hours with core availability between 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST.

  • Occasional meetings with global stakeholders may require availability in other time zones.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of database structures, data warehousing, and data governance principles.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align data projects with strategic goals.
