Job Summary:

Sutherland Global Services Ltd is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our IT team as part of the Applications Implementation and Support division. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-level software applications. This position is essential to ensuring a seamless integration of IT systems into business operations and providing technical support to end-users and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure software applications according to project specifications and organizational needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to ensure smooth deployment of IT solutions.

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for internal applications and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and propose long-term solutions for recurring application issues.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system manuals.

  • Monitor application performance and generate reports on stability, usage, and incidents.

  • Manage application upgrades, patches, and version control in coordination with the IT infrastructure team.

  • Provide training and onboarding support for users on new or upgraded systems.

  • Adhere to ITIL and best practice frameworks for change, incident, and problem management.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Solid understanding of application lifecycle management and enterprise system architecture.

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise platforms.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle), APIs, and scripting languages is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes.


Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT application implementation and support roles.

  • Prior experience in a BPO, shared services, or enterprise technology environment is advantageous.


Working Hours:

  • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST

  • Flexibility required to accommodate global projects and support on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends when necessary.

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise software implementation methodologies.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
