Key Responsibilities

  • Type and format a wide range of legal documents including contracts, agreements, affidavits, and notices.

  • Proofread documents to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting according to legal standards.

  • Follow specific templates and client instructions precisely.

  • Maintain document confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information.

  • Review and revise documents based on feedback or new client requirements.

  • Ensure timely completion and submission of assignments.

  • Organize files and records for easy retrieval and archival.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors through email or messaging platforms.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word (including headers, footers, page numbers, line spacing, table of contents, etc.).

  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with a high level of accuracy.

  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Familiarity with legal document formatting is an added advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of cloud storage tools like Google Drive or Dropbox.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions independently.

  • A laptop/desktop and stable internet connection are mandatory.


Experience

  • No prior legal or document processing experience required.

  • Freshers, homemakers, college students, and career returnees are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience with legal, academic, or business transcription/typing is a plus.
