Job Summary
Fresher Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Part-Time Remote Ebook Formatter to support our growing library of digital content. This position is ideal for individuals with strong MS Word formatting skills and a passion for clean, professional ebook presentation. As an Ebook Formatter, you will be responsible for converting, formatting, and styling Word documents into reader-friendly ePub and PDF formats for publication on multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Format and style Word documents to align with ebook publishing standards (ePub, PDF).

Ensure consistent font styles, spacing, headings, and table formatting across content.

Apply paragraph styles, page layouts, and metadata tagging using MS Word templates.

Correct formatting issues including spacing, alignment, and page breaks.

Maintain version control and track revisions.

Collaborate with content writers, editors, and quality assurance staff.

Proofread ebooks for formatting consistency before final submission.

Organize and archive formatted files for easy future retrieval.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including advanced formatting tools and style creation.

Good understanding of ebook formatting requirements (e.g., Kindle, ePub).

Basic knowledge of file conversions (Word to PDF/ePub).

Keen eye for detail and commitment to high formatting standards.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience

Minimum 0–1 year of experience in formatting or document editing roles.

Freshers with strong MS Word editing skills and portfolio samples are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

Part-time | Remote

Flexible schedule with an expected availability of 2–4 hours per day, 5 days a week.
