As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative AI, advanced analytics, and automation solutions for clients across diverse industries. You’ll also contribute to growing IBM’s data science capabilities by mentoring team members and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead AI & Analytics Initiatives: Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale AI and advanced analytics projects—from discovery and design to deployment.
Client Engagement & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex business challenges into data-driven strategies and communicating the tangible value of AI solutions.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyze large datasets and build models to uncover actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with consultants, engineers, and business leaders to develop innovative, client-specific solutions in a collaborative environment.
Modeling & Solution Development: Design and implement machine learning models, statistical analyses, and tailored AI applications that address real-world client needs.
Business Development: Support growth efforts through solution design, proposal development, and client presentations.
Thought Leadership: Contribute to IBM’s innovation agenda by authoring white papers, speaking at conferences, and creating reusable tools and frameworks.
Mentorship: Coach and guide junior data scientists and analysts to support their professional growth and project success.
Innovation & Learning: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science, integrating cutting-edge techniques into client solutions.
