Join Providence as a Principal Service Engineer in our End User Complete team, where you’ll help lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-level solutions using tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Intune, Jamf, Nexthink, and more.

In this key technical leadership role, you’ll collaborate across engineering, operations, and program management to create and maintain high-performing, resilient services that empower Providence caregivers and business teams.

What You’ll Do

* Lead the technical strategy and implementation of endpoint management services.
* Design and support enterprise solutions using MCM, Intune, Jamf, and other modern tools.
* Automate deployments, recovery processes, and other operations to increase efficiency and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business and technical requirements.
* Use data-driven insights to guide process improvements and operational decisions.
* Conduct resilience modeling and simulate service outages to improve system reliability.
* Represent your service area in backlog prioritization, planning meetings, and team standups.
* Perform root cause analysis and advanced problem-solving for complex system issues.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
* 8+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering or endpoint management.
Proven expertise in:

* Automation of system deployments and recovery tasks
* Designing and maintaining multi-tier (n-tier) solutions
* Resilience modeling and failure simulation
* Influencing technical decisions and architectural direction
* Leading prioritization discussions for live site operations
* Data-driven decision making and process optimization
* Advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

* Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
* 8+ years of hands-on endpoint management experience, including:

* Advanced administration of MCM and Intune
* Operating system deployment (task sequences, Autopilot)
* Application packaging and patching
* Co-management capabilities
* Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python, including API integration for SaaS platforms.
* Deep troubleshooting knowledge of Windows and macOS, including use of performance tools like *Sysinternals and Windows Performance Toolkit.
* Familiarity with Nexthink or other Digital Experience (DEX) platforms.
* Experience in a Healthcare IT environment is highly desirable.
