About the Role
We’re looking for a Data & Software Engineer I who has a foundational understanding of both traditional and modern data architecture, and a passion for learning and collaboration.
In this role, you’ll work on data transformation, analysis, and pipeline development—using tools like SQL, Python, PySpark, and platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

What You’ll Do

Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark

Work with both traditional (ETL, ELT, star/snowflake) and modern (lakehouse, Delta Lake) data architectures

Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders

Identify and address gaps in processes with a proactive and solution-focused mindset

Contribute to agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field — or equivalent experience

1+ years of relevant experience in software or data engineering

Proficiency in Python, and experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, Java, Python)

Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis

Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with distributed computing tools such as PySpark

Exposure to data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks

Understanding of machine learning concepts (time series, statistical modeling, etc.)

Experience using version control systems such as Git

Exposure to NoSQL databases
