Job Role: Senior Network Engineer

Network/Storage Test Engineer – End-to-End Cloud Solutions Team

We’re seeking a skilled Network/Storage Test Engineer to join our End-to-End Cloud solution team. As a key member of the E2E Verification team, you will focus on testing and defining advanced Ethernet and InfiniBand NIC and Switch features and topologies. Your work will accelerate the development and enablement of NVIDIA products, helping meet the evolving demands of the market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate on design reviews and product feature requirements across the Ethernet/InfiniBand NIC & Switch portfolio and AI networking solutions.

  • Develop and build test topologies that emulate complex, large-scale customer environments for thorough product coverage.

  • Lead and mentor the testing automation team to design and implement tests for new features within NVIDIA’s expanding network switch and adapter division.

  • Drive innovation by preparing and executing proof-of-concept (POC) activities aligned with emerging industry demands.

  • Create detailed test reports throughout release cycles, assist in reproducing and debugging complex customer scenarios, identify root causes, and act as the primary engineering contact during verification of fixes provided by R&D.

  • Execute comprehensive end-to-end tests, including regression, performance, functional, and scalability testing, while tracking and summarizing test progress.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in IT/Networking.

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in networking or related fields.

  • Strong knowledge of Congestion Control/DCQCN, Switch technologies, and collective communication protocols (NCCL, MPI).

  • Proficient in Linux-based platforms with deep experience in L2 and L3 networking protocols.

  • Quick learner with exceptional technical aptitude.

  • Self-driven, responsible, and able to manage projects independently.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Bonus Skills That Set You Apart:

  • Experience with virtualization platforms like KVM, HyperV, VMware, OpenStack, or Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with NAS and/or SAN storage systems.

  • Scripting expertise in Bash and/or Python.
