Role: Bullpen Field Nurse Educator
At the heart of our mission is the patient. The Bullpen Nurse Educator plays a critical role in delivering educational support to patients living with chronic conditions. This non-clinical, patient-facing role centers on providing disease- and medication-specific education through one-on-one interactions — in person, over the phone, or via digital platforms.
As a Bullpen Ambassador, you will serve as a flexible resource, stepping in to support various regions during staffing gaps, such as vacancies or leaves of absence. Your ability to quickly adapt, maintain continuity of care, and put patients first is essential to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver educational support to patients regarding disease states and prescribed therapies.

Coordinate access to program-approved resources tailored to patient needs.

Empower patients through education to improve treatment adherence and self-management.

Foster open dialogue between patients and healthcare providers (no medical advice given).

Engage patients across multiple platforms: in-person, phone, video, email, and SMS.

Provide agile coverage across territories during absences or vacancies.

Maintain professionalism and consistency in service across varying regions and teams.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree or BSN preferred.

Licensure: Current RN license required in state of residence; compact multi-state license preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in settings such as hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech.

Previous nurse educator experience preferred.

Home care background is a plus.

Current Ambassador experience required.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to adapt quickly to new teams, regions, and patient populations.

Strong organizational and time management skills; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 70–80%).
