Role Overview
Reporting to management and guided by Team Leaders, the Logistics Technician will play a key role in receiving, storing, processing, and shipping materials to support production across multiple companies and divisions within our warehousing and distribution center. This position requires strong teamwork and adherence to all Government, Company, and Departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, stage, scale, and load customer orders for internal and external shipment, preparing all necessary documentation.

Receive and put away incoming products and supplies, update SAP systems, and report discrepancies.

Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper documentation.

Coordinate pickups and deliveries by communicating with carriers.

Monitor and maintain sufficient operating supplies and perform general cleanup and light maintenance to ensure a safe, clean workspace.

Manage material movements to and from storage bays, replenishing storage bins as needed.

Print delivery documents and report any order fulfillment issues.

Participate actively in company training programs covering procedures, safety, and policies, applying knowledge daily.

Verify inventory accuracy through documentation review and cycle counts.

Attend company and departmental meetings and prepare required shipping and export documentation.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (required).

Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse/distribution including order processing, inventory control, and receiving (preferred).

OSHA Industrial Truck Certification (preferred).

Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, conveyors, shrink wrappers, and ASRS systems.

Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and SAP or equivalent systems (preferred).

Reliable transportation to work at multiple facility locations.

Strong ability to learn and apply departmental procedures and safety regulations.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Competency with computers for data entry and RF transactions.

Basic math skills for inventory and documentation tasks.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt to changing work assignments.

Strong attention to detail, safety, quality, and customer service.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds overhead.

Ability to stand or walk for 6-7 hours per shift.

Willingness to work overtime as needed.
