Bosch Group is inviting talented and driven graduates to join our Management Trainee Program in Manufacturing & Production Operations. This program is designed to develop future leaders in industrial manufacturing through structured training, hands-on experience, and continuous mentorship.

As a Management Trainee – Manufacturing & Production Operations, you will be immersed in the end-to-end processes of production, from planning and quality control to maintenance and process optimization. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and operations leaders to improve efficiency, ensure safety, and deliver world-class manufacturing excellence — aligning with Bosch’s vision of “Invented for Life.”

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily production planning, scheduling, and monitoring to achieve operational targets.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma practices.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze production bottlenecks and implement process enhancements.

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards throughout the production cycle.

  • Participate in equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Monitor resource utilization and inventory to optimize production efficiency.

  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and supply chain departments to align manufacturing operations with product design and customer requirements.

  • Support safety audits and promote adherence to Bosch’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

  • Generate operational reports and assist in presenting performance metrics to senior management.

  • Learn and apply advanced automation and digital manufacturing tools used in Bosch facilities.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing concepts, production systems, and process flow.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with SAP, AutoCAD, or ERP systems is an added advantage.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to work on-site at manufacturing units and gain practical exposure.

  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.


Experience:

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations are encouraged to apply.

  • Internship or project experience in a factory, plant, or production line environment will be preferred.


Working Hours:

  • Full-Time Role

  • Standard hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

  • Flexibility may be required depending on production schedules and project demands.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing systems such as Lean Production, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and Just-in-Time (JIT).

  • Familiarity with ISO standards, 5S methodology, and process safety protocols.

  • Ability to analyze technical data, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions.

  • Strong leadership potential with a proactive and hands-on approach.

  • Capacity to adapt to fast-paced production environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Technical aptitude combined with business acumen and strategic thinking.
