Product Manager – Games Developer Tools

Location: West Coast (Travel to Los Angeles or Los Gatos, CA as needed)

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of world-class tools and experiences for game developers building on our TV platforms. In this role, you will be a key advocate for developers—both internal teams and external partners—ensuring they can efficiently build, test, and launch games on Netflix.

This is a hybrid role that combines traditional product management with elements of developer advocacy. You will define the roadmap, shape strategy, and drive execution on tools that empower game creators.

What You will Do

  • Champion the Developer Experience: Be the voice of the developer. Identify pain points and opportunities to improve tooling for building, testing, and releasing TV games.
  • Own the Product Roadmap: Build and align cross-functional teams around a shared vision that supports both developer needs and Netflixs broader business goals.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, program managers, and business leads to build and launch impactful tools and features.
  • Bridge Across Domains: Partner with other product managers and platform teams to ensure seamless integration across the developer ecosystem.
  • Leverage Existing Infrastructure: Collaborate with internal tooling and enablement teams to build on shared capabilities and reduce duplication.
  • Drive with Data: Define success metrics in partnership with Data Science, and use them to guide roadmap priorities and feature decisions.
  • Deliver Great Experiences: Translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, scalable, and developer-friendly tools.
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Plan and execute feature launches with a focus on adoption, usability, and continuous learning.

What We are Looking For

  • 8+ years in product management or a related field, with direct experience building for or with developers.
  • Strong technical acumen or background; comfortable discussing technical trade-offs with engineers.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from ideation to launch.
  • Passion for the developer experience and a drive to reduce friction through thoughtful design and tooling.
  • Experience using user testing, analytics, and feedback loops to shape product direction.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and evolving goals.
  • Deep interest or experience in the digital gaming industry.
