Key Responsibilities

Develop robust technical solutions to complex engineering challenges, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Systems Engineering processes.

Produce high-quality Systems Engineering artefacts throughout the product development lifecycle to support successful project delivery.

Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance across multiple projects, influencing architecture, design, and implementation decisions.

Drive the design, development, and delivery of Systems Engineering documentation, ensuring consistency and excellence across deliverables.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (system, hardware, and software) to promote design modularity, reusability, and technical coherence.

Lead and contribute to internal and external design reviews, presenting to senior stakeholders and customers to ensure successful outcomes.

Take ownership of specific project elements to balance technical requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.

Engage with customers and external suppliers to ensure compliance with processes and fulfillment of project goals.

Contribute to and review technical bids and proposals, providing accurate estimates for time, cost, and risk to support business development.

Work with project managers and engineering leads to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve project margins.

Deliver Systems Engineering activities within estimated timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to project schedules.

Review and approve technical documentation; lead technical reviews for major deliverables.

Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to a range of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

Ensure information security compliance in line with government and organizational standards.

Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering team development and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or equivalent experience.

Strong understanding and practical experience of Systems Engineering principles and the V-Model lifecycle.

Proven ability to develop clear, complete system requirements and compliant design solutions.

Skilled in producing high-quality technical documentation and performing formal technical reviews.

Experience with tools such as JAMA and hands-on development in hardware, software, or firmware, particularly in embedded environments.
