What You will Be Doing

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our Formula 1 supply chain — from design release to component delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Operations and Engineering to drive supply chain performance.

  • Support long-term demand forecasting and supply strategies.

  • Manage engineering changes and ensure updates are communicated clearly across the supply chain.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Bills of Materials (BoMs) aligned with engineering revisions.

  • Improve financial transparency by clearly separating programme demands, helping maximise budget efficiency under cost cap regulations.

  • Champion supply chain best practices and drive efficiency through planning and process improvements.

  • Mitigate obsolescence risks by monitoring specification volatility and proposing reuse or use-up strategies.

  • Contribute to the development of planning tools and SAP-based automation to streamline supply chain operations.

  • Implement proactive solutions to eliminate shortages, especially for high-usage consumables, while managing obsolescence impact.

Your Development Path

Alongside your work, you will complete the Supply Chain Practitioner (Level 3) qualification tailored to the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This will include modules in:

  • Risk Management

  • Change Management

  • Project Management

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Logistics and Procurement Processes

You will also complete a Professional Foundation Qualification in Programme Management, providing a strong base for future roles in programme delivery and strategic supply chain leadership.
