Role Overview
Join a dynamic team at the heart of power unit assembly—where meticulously engineered components are brought together with precision, reliability, and repeatability. Your focus will be on assembling complex systems, not designing them, but your contribution will be absolutely vital: without this team, the power unit as we know it would not exist.
As we gear up for the 2026 championship and the new Power Unit regulations, speed and agility are essential. You will play a key role in developing tooling, refining processes, and supporting product evolution. Expect hands-on experience in Siemens NX CAD, engagement with our Faults System, and cross-functional collaboration with teams across Automation, Engine Build, Project Management, and Product Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to process and tool development supporting assembly of Internal Combustion Engines, Electric Machines, and Battery Packs
- Work within our Faults System to investigate root causes of engine build issues, ensuring effective resolutions and preventing track failures
- Collaborate with multiple departments to drive improvements and ensure assembly excellence
- Develop your skills in CAD (Siemens NX), fault diagnostics, and hands-on engineering problem-solving
What We are Looking For
- A driven, curious individual with a 2:1 or higher in Mechanical, Motorsport, or Automotive Engineering (or a related discipline)
- Practical experience—whether through motorsport involvement, hands-on vehicle or powertrain assembly, or relevant work placements
- Strong understanding of CAD software and an ability to apply it in real-world scenarios
- A creative and analytical mindset capable of solving engineering challenges under time pressure
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with peers and senior leadership alike
- Adaptable and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for engineering
- A team player who is ready to go the extra mile to deliver race-ready results
