As a Live Chat Agent, you will assist Meesho’s customers in real-time via chat, helping them with order placement, product queries, returns, refunds, payments, and other service-related requests. Your role is critical in ensuring a smooth and positive shopping experience for every customer, while representing Meesho’s values of efficiency, empathy, and innovation.

This remote role is ideal for freshers as well as candidates with prior experience in customer support, who are ready to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries through live chat platforms.

  • Assist customers with order placements, cancellations, returns, refunds, and payment-related issues.

  • Provide detailed and accurate information about products, policies, and promotions.

  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining high service standards.

  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions using CRM tools.

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience.

  • Stay updated with Meesho’s products, policies, and e-commerce trends to provide accurate guidance.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification: 10+2 or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • Excellent written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Good typing speed (minimum 35–40 words per minute) with accuracy.

  • Customer-centric mindset with empathy, patience, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.

  • Basic knowledge of computers, internet, and chat tools.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Quick learner, adaptable, and willing to embrace new tools and processes.


Experience:

  • Freshers are welcome to apply.

  • Prior experience in customer support, live chat, or BPO operations is an advantage but not mandatory.

  • On-the-job training will be provided to all selected candidates to ensure readiness for the role.


Working Hours:

  • Full-time remote position with rotational shifts.

  • Shifts may include mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays depending on business needs.
