Job Summary:
The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting compliance-related applications and ensuring they operate efficiently and in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements. This role involves delivering accurate technical documentation, identifying and resolving system issues, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance application performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain compliance-related applications, ensuring stability, accuracy, and performance.
- Deliver comprehensive system documentation and provide actionable recommendations based on analysis and research.
- Identify areas requiring immediate corrective action and develop effective technical solutions.
- Provide expert guidance in application design and development, leveraging a strong understanding of relevant technologies, tools, and system architecture.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for application design or redesign.
- Validate and verify program logic by preparing and executing test cases, debugging programs, and overseeing overall system testing.
- Manage the migration of applications and platforms into production environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation, technical procedures, and user guides.
- Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards across all supported applications.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and testing of the business continuity plan.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in application development and implementation or a closely related role.
