About the Role
As an IT Systems Engineer at Bolt, you’ll play a key role in keeping our technology ecosystem secure, scalable, and efficient. Acting as the second line of support, you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, manage our core IT systems, and drive automation across our environment. We’re looking for a hands-on engineer with a creative, automation-first mindset who’s eager to streamline workflows using tools like Okta Workflows and Zapier. Your work will ensure our employees stay productive, secure, and connected.
What You’ll Do

Deliver exceptional IT support and maintain reliable system performance.

Approach problems with an automation-first mindset, creating scalable, low-code solutions using platforms like Okta Workflows and Zapier.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as second-line support.

Manage and optimize our IT stack — including Okta, Google Workspace, Rippling, Intune, and more.

Document processes, log system changes, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Maintain business continuity plans and data backup procedures.

Streamline onboarding to ensure new hires are fully equipped from day one.

Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, security, and user experience.
About You

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

4+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support.

Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, macOS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 environments.

Experience with macOS MDMs (Jamf, Kandji, Rippling) and SSO solutions (Okta, OneLogin, Google OAuth).

Skilled in using low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Okta Workflows, Make.com, Zapier) to build automations.

Strong written and verbal communication; able to synthesize and explain complex information clearly.

Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup.

Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, ZSH, or Python is a plus.
