Job Description
1. Uphold Company Standards
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Implement action plans and use the Open Door Policy to address issues and ensure integrity in daily operations.
2. Operate Equipment Safely
- Operate forklifts in accordance with company guidelines.
- Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets as required.
3. Manage Work Priorities and Collaboration
- Complete assignments by prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and aligning with team and company goals.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to ensure effective communication and execution.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and adapt to feedback and change.
4. Receive and Organize Merchandise
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory flow and maintain accuracy by following company policies and equipment procedures.
- Correct shelf capacities, handle working inventory exceptions, and complete all required paperwork and documentation.
5. Deliver Excellent Member Service
- Acknowledge and assist members by identifying their needs and providing guidance on products and services.
- Support members with self-service technology and purchasing decisions.
- Resolve member concerns and promote company products and services.
6. Maintain a Safe Facility
- Conduct regular safety sweeps and inspections in accordance with company safety policies.
- Follow forklift spotting and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Adhere to steel standard guidelines and report or correct unsafe situations immediately.
7. Maintain Sales Floor & Merchandising Standards
- Ensure the sales floor and displays meet company presentation standards.
- Zone areas properly, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged or outdated items, and maintain modular integrity.
- Set up and organize promotional and seasonal displays, process defective merchandise, and comply with sanitation and food safety policies.
- Monitor for shrinkage, safety risks, and security concerns.
8. Support Club Pick-Up Orders
- Assist in picking and staging Club Pick-Up orders throughout the day.
- Ensure orders are accurately selected, staged, and audited in compliance with company standards.
- Support Merchandising Associates in maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
9. Manage Inventory Effectively
- Handle, move, and display goods safely and correctly.
- Track inventory levels, control shrinkage, and report low stock or poor practices.
- Use inventory tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
10. Operate Forklifts Properly
- Maintain forklifts in good working order and operate them safely.
- Report unsafe conditions, poor practices, or equipment issues to management immediately.
11. Utilize Technology and Support Customers
- Identify and assist customers who need help with technology-related services or products.
- Maintain equipment, ensure products are properly organized and stocked, and promptly resolve issues.
- Identify shrink opportunities and take corrective action when necessary.
