Pocket FM, one of India’s leading audio entertainment platforms, is looking for a Remote Technical Support Specialist (Entry-Level) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-quality technical support to our users and ensuring that their listening experience is smooth and uninterrupted. You will handle technical queries, troubleshoot issues, and assist with application-related concerns through chat, email, and remote support tools.

This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a passion for technology, digital media, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to users via chat, email, and ticketing systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the Pocket FM app, user accounts, streaming errors, and device compatibility.

  • Assist in resolving login, playback, subscription, and performance-related concerns.

  • Document and categorize user-reported issues accurately in the internal CRM system.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to escalate and resolve complex problems.

  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions to technical issues in a clear and empathetic manner.

  • Stay updated on product updates, new features, and troubleshooting best practices.

  • Provide feedback to the development team on recurring technical problems and potential improvements.

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely resolutions and professional communication.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Basic understanding of mobile apps, streaming technologies, and Android/iOS systems.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple and clear language.

  • Good knowledge of internet connectivity troubleshooting and app configuration.

  • Proficiency in using helpdesk or CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira) is an advantage.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new tools and technologies.


Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).

  • Internship or prior exposure to software/application support will be an added advantage.


Working Hours:

  • Flexible remote work schedule based on business requirements.

  • Standard work hours: 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.

  • May require weekend or rotational shifts to support customers across different time zones.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of application performance, networking, and software troubleshooting.

  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • High emotional intelligence and patience when handling customer issues.

  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Adaptability to new tools, processes, and technologies in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Passion for the audio entertainment industry and familiarity with streaming platforms.
