The Quint is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Online Data Annotation Specialist for AI Models to join our remote operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for labeling, categorizing, and annotating various datasets — including text, images, audio, and video — to train and improve Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models.
This position plays a crucial part in enhancing the accuracy and intelligence of our AI-driven systems that support digital media operations, content personalization, and automation. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, a keen understanding of digital content, and the ability to follow precise guidelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Annotate, label, and categorize large datasets accurately according to project-specific guidelines.

Work on a variety of AI model training data, including text, images, audio, and videos.

Ensure consistency and quality across all annotated data by following annotation standards.

Collaborate with AI engineers and project managers to clarify labeling instructions or complex cases.

Review and validate datasets to identify errors, inconsistencies, or anomalies.

Participate in quality assurance (QA) processes to maintain annotation accuracy and efficiency.

Keep track of annotation progress and meet daily or weekly productivity targets.

Adapt to new tools, data types, and labeling platforms as project requirements evolve.

Provide feedback to improve annotation guidelines and system functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Linguistics, or any related field (students and fresh graduates are welcome).

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow structured guidelines.

Basic understanding of AI, ML, and data processing concepts (preferred but not mandatory).

Proficiency in using digital tools, web-based platforms, and spreadsheets.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience:

0–2 years of experience in data annotation, data entry, content tagging, or a related role.

Prior experience with annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, Prodigy, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth, or similar) is an added advantage.

Working Hours:

Fully remote position with flexible working hours.

Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST).
