Naukri.com is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Remote Full Stack Developer (Node.js/React) to join our fast-paced technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that power millions of user experiences daily. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create responsive, reliable, and high-performance web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using Node.js, React.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications.

  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security through optimized coding practices.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and DevOps.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve functionality.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.

  • Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the future technical direction of the platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Next.js).

  • Proven experience in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, or other relational/non-relational databases.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

  • Understanding of version control systems such as Git/GitHub.

  • Knowledge of deployment processes using AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and analytical mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a remote team setup.

  • Ability to write efficient, reusable, and modular code that adheres to modern development standards.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using Node.js and React.js.

  • Freshers with strong project experience or portfolio work may also be considered.

  • Prior experience working in an agile development environment is an added advantage.

Working Hours:

  • Remote work – full-time position.

  • Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST).

  • Flexibility in working hours may be required to coordinate with cross-functional or global teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of web application architecture and RESTful API principles.

  • Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.

  • Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
